Everthing is goin wrong today..when everything felt so right..
Everything was planned today..but maybe the time wasn't right..
what was God thinkin when He saw me today..
what was God thinkin when He made this day....

i thought i'd write a song today...but couldnt get the words all right.
i thought i'd go through all the way...but couldn't go beyond the first line..

I thought it would be a clear day...but i got drenched on my way...
I was late on the very first day..never thought it was gonna be this way..

i thought i'd listen to the radio...but nothing would please me tonite..
